Grenades in a Children's Bag: the Fighting in Khan Yunis is Expanding

The IDF announced (Friday) that last week the fighters of the 900th "Kfir" Brigade Combat Team joined the forces of the 98th Division fighting in the Khan Yunis area. During their activity in the area, the fighters eliminated terrorist squads with the help of fire, air, and armored forces and found means of warfare in children's bags.

According to the announcement of the IDF spokesman, with intelligence guidance, the fighters raided dozens of homes of Hamas terrorist organization operatives, where ready-to-use explosives were found and destroyed trapped buildings.

In addition, the IDF states that many weapons and tunnel shafts were located in the area. The fighters also located a doll that they dressed in an IDF olive-green one-piece snowsuit, in an attempt by Hamas terrorists to carry out a fraudulent operation and harm the forces, by luring them into an ambush.

It was also reported that in one of the raids, combat team fighters located weapons in a children's room at home. Some of the weapons were hidden inside a children's bag. Grenades, vests, weapons, cartridges and intelligence materials were found among the means of warfare. In addition, a laboratory for the preparation of explosive devices was also located.
