Dvir's Heroism: Jumps on the Shaft and Saves His Comrades

The casualty officers who came to announce his death told the family members that Dvir was killed when he spotted a trapped shaft and realized that it would hurt the soldiers, Dvir jumped and lay down on the shaft of the pit and took the hit and with his bravery saved three soldiers who were with him. In addition, in the battle in which Dvir fell, a soldier in the 7107th Battalion, the Nahal (933rd) Brigade, was seriously injured.

Two other fighters who fell in the battles and whose names were released this morning are Captain (res.) Neriya Zisk, 24 years old, from Masu'ot Yitzhak, from the 52nd Battalion in the 401st Armored Brigade, was killed yesterday in a battle in the center of the Gaza Strip. Sgt. First Class (res.) Asaf Pinhas Tubul, 22 years old, from Kiryat Motzkin, a fighter in the 77th Battalion, 'Saar me-Golan' formation (7th Armored Brigade), was killed yesterday in a battle in the south of the Gaza Strip.

In addition, in the battle in which Sgt. First Class (res.) Asaf Pinhas Tubul was killed, an officer and a fighter in the 77th Battalion, 'Saar me-Golan' formation (7th Armored Brigade) were seriously injured.
