The IDF, Border Police and Shin Bet forces operated last night in a counter-terrorism operation in the Nur Shams refugee camp under the command of the Menashe Brigade. As part of the operation, engineering tools uncovered and destroyed charges under and on the sides of the roads intended to harm our forces. In addition, a wanted person suspected of trafficking in weapons was arrested.
During the activity, suspects threw explosives and fired at the forces who responded with fire. An IDF soldier was slightly injured and was taken to a hospital for medical treatment, his family was informed.
In the village of Karma in the Yehuda division, the fighters arrested two wanted men and confiscated weapons. More weapons were located and confiscated in Kfar Seir in the Etzion division. The wanted persons who were arrested and the weapons confiscated were transferred to the security forces for further treatment.
So far, since the beginning of the war, approximately 2,450 wanted persons have been arrested throughout the Judea and Samaria Division and the Bik'a and Valleys Division, approximately 1,210 of whom are associated with the terrorist organization Hamas.
