IDF Release to Publication the Name of Fallen Fighter in Gaza

The IDF allows the publication that Major (Ret.) Joseph Avner Doran, 26 years old from Jerusalem, was killed in battle in the northern Gaza Strip. He fought as part of the Operational Mobility Unit and served as a designated collection fighter in the Shayetet 13.

Major (responsible) Yosef Avner Doran, from Jerusalem, fought as part of the Operational Mobility Unit, served as a designated collection fighter in the Shayetet 13, and fell in battle in the north of the Gaza Strip.

His funeral will be held today, Sunday, Thursday, December 17, at 1:00 PM at the Mount Herzl Military Cemetery.

This brought the number of IDF fallen soldiers in the war whose names were allowed to be published to 453. May their memory be blessed.

5 other fighters were seriously injured

In addition, a soldier (res.) in the Operational Mobility Unit from the Marom Brigade was seriously injured yesterday (Saturday) in a battle in the northern Gaza Strip.

Also, an officer and three reservists in the 6623 Battalion, 55 Brigade, were seriously injured yesterday (Saturday) in a battle in the southern Gaza Strip.
