IDF Spokesperson in Arabic, Lt.-Col. Avichay Adraee addressed the image published today (Thursday) showing Hamas terrorists leaving the Kamal Adwan hospital in Gaza, undressed and handing over their weapons to IDF soldiers. In a tweet he published on his X/Twitter page, he wrote: “They raise their weapons and surrender. A souvenir photo on the occasion of the 36th anniversary of the founding of the Hamas movement. The collapse of the terror organization is coming, blessed is God.”

The tweet comes after an earlier report that IDF soldiers belonging to the 460th brigade’s combat team, part of 162nd division, working in cooperation with the Shin Bet in the area of the Kamal Adwan hospital and locating a structure serving Hamas members and containing weapons. A number of terrorists were eliminated in various encounters in the hospital area.

They were taken away by field investigators of the IDF Intelligence Corps’ Unit 504 and Shin Bet coordinators for further questioning.
