22-year-old Nentanel Eitan, who was seriously injured in a military operation in Gaza, was brought to Beilinson in critical condition. His heart was transplanted in a 56-year-old man in Sheba, his lungs in a 36-year-old man in Beilinson, and his liver in a 70-year-old man in Ichilov.
His family and friends said: "Netanel was born in Jerusalem to his parents Yoni and Tali, brother to Noam, Yakir, Elyashiv and Binyamin. Already at school, as a gifted student, he stood out for his love for others and giving. He was a counselor in the "Ezra" youth movement, he was the glue of the branch when the members were fascinated by him.
"At the same time, he volunteered at the 'Zichron Menachem' association to accompany children with cancer. During the Corona period, he volunteered in the oncology department of a hospital. Netanel studied at the "Ma'ale Ephraim" preparatory school and then enlisted in Unit 669, where he did a medic course.
"His teammates say that he was the head of the team, a leader, never satisfied with a mediocre result. He was the first in the team to be sent to become an officer, and half a year after the course, the war broke out. On 7/10 he managed to save three soldiers, and had time to tell Michael, his best friend from childhood, that it gave him a special feeling of meaning."
