Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu today (Tuesday) addressed the tensions with the American administration regarding the day after the war in Gaza, when he said that there are disputes regarding "the day after Hamas" between Israel and the US - but made it clear that he will not allow the Palestinian Authority to enter Gaza.

"I really appreciate the American support for the destruction of Hamas and the return of our abductees," Netanyahu said. "After an intensive conversation with President Biden and his people, we received full backing for the ground entry and curbing the international pressures to end the war."

"Yes, there are disputes regarding 'the day after Hamas' and I hope we will reach an agreement here as well" he added and admitted. "I want to make my position clear: I will not allow Israel to repeat the mistake of Oslo. I will not allow that after the tremendous sacrifice of our citizens and fighters, we will bring into Gaza those who educate to terrorism, support terrorism, finance terrorism. Gaza will be neither Hamastan nor Fatahstan."

Maybe there is a disagreement, but the one who ought to decide is Israel. Israel is the one who faces the problem and pays the highest prices so it's only justified for Israel to determine what should be done. And the US should recognize that.
