While in Captivity: the Abductee Became a Father for the Third Time

Sagi Dekel Chen, a member of the emergency squad at Kibbutz Nir Oz, who has been held captive by the terrorist organization Hamas for 67 days, became the father of three girls yesterday when his wife, Avital, gave birth to their third daughter last night.

Jonathan, Sagi's father, said a few days after his son was declared missing that "he and another person are missing after they tried to repel Hamas that had entered the kibbutz. Sagi grew up in the kibbutz, he is a leader, a friend and a loved one. The kibbutz was barbarically destroyed and friends of mine were killed, many taken captive or missing".

Regarding the demand for aid from the US, he said: "I believe that the US should always be on the good side - and Hamas is the evil one. What we witnessed was inhumane, and we must stop it. We are waiting for Sagi to return home."
