The IDF, the Shin Bet and the Border Police under the command of the Menashe Brigade began an operation tonight to counter terrorism in the area of ​​the refugee camp and the city of Jenin. Engineering tools worked to uncover explosives buried under roads intended to harm our forces.

During the operation that continued in daylight, drones of Unit 636 identified a terrorist squad that threw explosives and fired at the troops. An Air Force aircraft attacked the squad and eliminated several terrorists.

During their operation, the forces located a number of weapons, ammunition and charges. In addition, they located and destroyed a laboratory of ready-to-use explosives. Underground shafts and observation posts were also located. The fighters have so far detained dozens of suspects and continue their activity.

Also, the forces arrested three other wanted persons throughout Judea and Samaria. During the activity of the forces in the village of Kfar Kalil in the Samaria division, the fighters located hunting weapons, a drone and ammunition.

In the anti-terrorism operation in Silwad in the Binyamin Division and in the Deheisha refugee camp in Etzion, many suspects were interrogated and flags of the terrorist organization Hamas and ammunition were confiscated; dozens of illegal vehicles were confiscated in Kfar Halhol. In the operation to counter terrorism in Kfar Nachalin, the forces searched many buildings, interrogated and detained dozens of suspects and confiscated illegal vehicles.
