They have not seen their home for two months, but when they are inside Gaza they work. The brigade combat team of the paratroopers fought last week in the neighborhoods of Zeitoun and Shajaiya in the heart of Gaza City. The fighters eliminated terrorists, arrested terrorists who were transferred for investigations, uncovered underground shafts and destroyed four main tunnel systems.

As part of searches in the neighborhoods and homes of Hamas operatives, soldiers of the 7421st Battalion located a lathe for making rockets, hundreds of charges, dozens of weapons and Grad missiles ready for launch. In addition, soldiers of the 202nd paratrooper battalion located a number of memory cards that contained materials taken by Hamas terrorists on Saturday, October 7.

The commander of the paratrooper brigade: "The important things are first of all the ability of all of us to look after each other, to meet the tasks and to bring everyone home safely. You are doing an amazing job - you are the Maccabees of this generation."
