A short time ago (Tuesday) it was reported that during an activity of the security forces to arrest wanted persons in the city of Jenin, an exchange of fire developed with terrorists, and explosive charges were thrown at the fighters. In response to the firing, an IDF aircraft intercepted the squad, four terrorists were killed and some were wounded.

Last night IDF, Shin Bet, and Border Police fighters arrested 18 wanted persons throughout Judea and Samaria, five of whom are terrorists in the Hamas terrorist organization. The arrested persons were transferred for further investigation by the security forces, and no injuries were reported among the soldiers.

According to the IDF spokesman's announcement, "During an operation in the Balata refugee camp in the Samaria Division, IDF forces and engineering vehicles opened axes from improvised roadblocks and explosives designed to harm our forces. In addition, two wanted persons were arrested, and parts of weapons and ammunition were found."
