Sirens were heard a short time ago (Wednesday) in Eilat. Magen David Adom stated that as of now, no reports have been received of hits or casualties.
The IDF Spokesperson stated that “following up on warnings in the area of the city of Eilat, a surface-to-surface missile was identified as launched towards the territory of the State of Israel and was successfully intercepted by fighters of the air defense, via the Arrow long-distance defense system. The target did not cross into Israeli territory, and was not a threat to citizens. The warning siren was activated according to policy.”
