Some of the Hamas terrorists who participated in the October 7 massacre met and consulted with a lawyer at a military facility, despite an order preventing them from doing so in order to isolate them from the outside world. This is what Avishai Greenzeig revealed today on Kan 11.
The failure apparently stems from the chaos and disorganization that prevailed in the system in the first days after the massacre, and from the fact that the terrorists were held and treated by different parties - the Israel Police, the IDF and the Shin Bet.
In addition, it was revealed that recent information that reached the terrorists during the investigations, should not have been in their possession if their separation from the outside world was hermetic.
As a reminder, last week Legal Adviser to the Government Gali Baharav-Miara confirmed today that it will be possible to extend the detention of Hamas terrorists caught after the massacre and deny them a meeting with a lawyer for 90 days.
