War in the North: Rocket Fired From Syria, Anti-Tank Missile Fired From Lebanon

IDF forces responded to rockets and missiles fired from Syria and Lebanon with artillery fire, no Israeli casualties reported.

The Swords of Iron War enters its 58th day.

Fighting continues in the north, with a rocket being fired from the direction of Syria to the Hermon and an anti-tank missile fired from Lebanon. The IDF responded with artillery fire. The missiles landed in open area without causing casualties.

IDF Spokesperson: “Earlier today, one launch was identified from the area of Syria towards the country’s territory, not intercepted based on policy. IDF forces struck the sources of the fire with artillery fire. In addition, earlier today, terrorists fired an anti-tank missile which fell in the open area in the Yiftah area. There are no casualties. Furthermore, the IDF struck a number of areas in Lebanese territory with artillery fire.”

Yesterday, Air Force fighter planes struck terror infrastructures which served the Hezbollah terrorist organization in Lebanese territory. In addition, a number of launches were identified towards the border area, the IDF struck the sources of the fire with artillery fire. Earlier, red color sirens were heard in the settlements of the Gilboa, the Galilee, and the Jezreel Valley, including Afula, Nof Hagalil, and Migdal Ha’emek.

It was later reported that this was a false alarm caused by a technical malfunction. The IDF Spokesperson announced that a combat helicopter intercepted an IDF drone identified to have a technical malfunction, with the rocket and missile warning going off due to the interception, which was done in a controlled, safe manner.
