The family of Ofir Tzarfati who was kidnapped to Gaza from the nature party near Re'im has been informed that he was murdered. The municipality of Kiryat Ata, where his family lives, informed them of the bad news.
For three weeks, the family members of Ofir Tzarfati hung between uncertainty and despair and did not know whether their loved one had been killed or taken hostage by Hamas.
About a week ago, IDF representatives came to them and told them that Ofir had been taken captive. It was a sad end to the 27th birthday celebrations of Ofir, an electrical engineering student. He was celebrating at a nature party near Re'im with his partner Shoval Gal and several friends. Minutes before the attack began, he was photographed blowing out candles on a cake brought for the occasion.
It is now known that he was murdered and it is still unknown whether he was already murdered in Israel or Gaza after he was kidnapped.
