Cabinet Secretary Yossi Fuchs referred today (Wednesday), to reports according to which, a comprehensive deal is being prepared for the return of all the abductees, in exchange for the cessation of fighting in the Gaza Strip and said that these are fake news.

In a tweet that he posted on his Twitter account, Fuchs wrote: "I will give you a rule of thumb in these tense days to know how to distinguish between news and fake news. Any news about a hostage release deal that leads to the end of the war or a prolonged ceasefire = fake news."

The Minister of National Security Itamar Ben-Gvir also addressed these reports yesterday and emphatically announced that if the fighting does not resume, his party will dissolve the government. Minister Ben-Gvir published a short and unambiguous message on social networks, in which he simply announced that: "stopping the war = dissolving the government".
