According to several reports in the world press, in preparation for the completion of the current hostage release deal, Israel and Qatar are negotiating a release deal that will include the men held captive by Hamas, among them the elderly, men of reserve age and soldiers.
According to the British Financial Times newspaper, knowledgeable sources revealed to the newspaper's officials that, in anticipation of the current deal reaching the end of all the grace days and the hostages who can be released as part of it, Israel and Qatar are already holding talks regarding additional stages of deals for the release of hostages.
According to the reports, the contacts now deal with the release of all the men held captive, the adults, the elderly and the soldiers, this is a new agreement, and is completely different from the current ceasefire agreement in which although Israel releases convicted security prisoners, the agreement itself is considered an agreement for the release of women and children.
According to various reports in the world and Arab press, the agreement dealing with the release of the men and soldiers will entail much more significant prices, whether it is the release of thousands of terrorists with blood on their hands or even more far-reaching requests by Hamas such as the lifting of the blockade from the Strip and the reopening of the crossings from the Israeli side for the entry of goods and equipment.
The reports also come against the backdrop of reports in the Israeli media claiming the existence of an extensive deal on the table, which would include a comprehensive ceasefire in exchange for the release of all the abductees.
