Finance Minister Bezalel Motrich came out strongly against the reports that Israel will soon receive an offer to stop fighting in exchange for the release of all the abductees, and announced that this is unthinkable and that it is a "plan to eliminate the State of Israel".

Finance Minister Smotrich commented on the reports that were published today, among them the reports that Israel will soon receive an offer to release all the Israeli abductees held by Hamas, the civilians and the soldiers, in exchange for a complete cessation of hostilities and an end to the entire war. The reports also come amid publications that Qatar and Egypt gave similar statements in the closed rooms, in which they said that the release of the kidnapped soldiers would have a high price that would require painful concessions.

According to the reports in Israel, the mediators dealing with the matter with Hamas are expected to present Israel with a comprehensive deal that will include a comprehensive ceasefire and not a truce, in exchange for the release of all the Israeli abductees. Basically, this is a proposal to end the war and keep Hamas in power in exchange for the release of the Israeli hostages.

Minister Smotrich came out strongly against the reports and announced on his behalf that "it is not on the agenda, not even as a proposal. There is no discussion about it at all." Beyond that, Minister Smotrich added and explained that "this is a plan to eliminate the State of Israel. We will continue until the absolute victory with the help of God and the destruction of the Nazis of Hamas."
