Yaffa Adar was Released
Dozens Cheered Her On: 85-Year-Old Yaffa Adar was Released to Her Home
85-year-old Yaffa Adar was released from Wolfson Hospital today, walking and accompanied by dozens of staff members who cheered her on. She is remembered as the grandmother who was taken captive on a scooter by Hamas terrorists.

With a long line of staff accompanying her with applause and Israeli flags, Yaffa Adar from Kibbutz Nir Oz was released to her home after several days of hospitalization at the Wolfson Hospital in Tel Aviv.
The 85-year-old Adar became famous as the grandmother who was kidnapped on a scooter by Hamas terrorists, smiling on the way. Her grandchildren said on the day of the abduction: "This is our grandmother who did not lower her head and her smile for a moment even when she was going into captivity at the age of 85."

She was returned in the second round of abductees, on Saturday night, and after three days of medical supervision, she left the hospital on her feet, surrounded by the love of the people of Israel.
