At the end of his visit, Minister Gantz said: "The State of Israel is determined to continue and win this war so that everyone can return here and everywhere. We are in the days when we are working to repatriate everyone who can be returned from captivity - and we will continue to use all means so that everyone can return to their homes."

Gantz made it clear that "after the cease-fire - fire will resume. The entire war cabinet is united in this position. There is no other option. We are preparing for the next stages of the war, and for the expansion of the maneuver in the Gaza Strip as a whole. There will be no point in which there will be a city of refuge for terrorists and Hamas leaders. We are committed to the safety of the residents of the south and the north and for all the citizens of Israel, and we are not going back until we carry out."
