Opposition to Netanyahu
Ben-Gvir and Lieberman Oppose Netanyahu: Enough of the Containment and Concessions in Gaza
After charges were fired in the Gaza Strip against IDF forces, members of the political system are coming out against Netanyahu and the policy of containment and concessions and calling for taking care of Israel's interests.

Following the detonation of explosive devices in Gaza that took place today (Tuesday) against IDF soldiers during the ceasefire with Hamas, the political system is speaking out against Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and the policy of containment.
Minister of National Security Itamar Ben-Gvir wrote that "Hamas tried a short time ago to assassinate IDF soldiers in the north of the Gaza Strip. I call on the Prime Minister not to "contain" the detonation of the explosive devices used against our soldiers, and to order the IDF to return and crush Hamas with force. We must not wait for our fighters to be killed. We must once again act in accordance with the goal of the war: the total destruction of Hamas."
The chairman of Yisrael Beitenu, MK Avigdor Lieberman, also stated that "Hamas continues to attack Israel and abuse the families of the abductees. Despite the Prime Minister's statement that visits by the Red Cross to our abductees is an integral part of the agreement, we have not yet seen any sign that Hamas fulfills its obligations."
"In addition," Lieberman says, "we were informed a short time ago that Hamas activated IEDs and shot at IDF soldiers in the north of the Gaza Strip, which constitutes a blatant violation of the ceasefire agreement. We must stop operating according to the concept that has already collapsed, stop with containment and concessions, and start taking care of the Israeli interest."
