Five days into the ceasefire, and today (Tuesday) Hamas terrorists violated it three times.
The IDF spokesman says that in the last hour, three charges were fired in two different cases in the northern Gaza Strip near IDF forces, contrary to the ceasefire agreements. In one of the cases, a shot was also fired at the force.
As a result, several fighters were slightly injured. The fighters responded by shooting at the sources of the shooting."
The IDF says that in both cases, IDF forces stayed within the agreed ceasefire lines.
A third violation of the ceasefire
This is the most serious case of ceasefire violation since Friday when a single rocket was fired into the Nahal Oz area. On Saturday night, Hamas made an exercise to delay the promised return of the captives, but under Qatari and Egyptian pressure, it withdrew and released the hostages until the same day, when they crossed the Gaza border a few minutes before midnight.
In the meantime, Israel is also containing this incident, especially when efforts are now being made through Qatari mediation to continue the hostage deal in exchange for more days of ceasefire, with the possibility of a long-term move.
