The Artillery in an Interim Summary: 100,000 Shells, 200 AccuLAR-122

The Artillery Corps concludes 50 days of activity in the Gaza Strip and the Northern Strip. During the days of fighting, the forces fired over 100,000 shells, over 90,000 of them in the Gaza Strip to attack targets and escort the maneuvering forces.

In the IDF, the first 50 days of combat are summed up. From the first day of the war, the fire brigades of the artillery corps operate and bring to the battlefield unique capabilities and fire support close to the fighters in the field.

During the days of fighting, the forces fired over 100,000 shells, over 90,000 of them in the Gaza Strip to attack targets and escort the maneuvering forces.

The UAV operators of the Artillery Corps units are also participating in the war: Unit 5252 "Zik" (Hermes 450), which attacks and destroys targets using remotely manned aircraft. As well as the teams of the "Sky Rider" Unit and "Sky Racer" units who operate aircraft and assist in collecting observations, identifying threats, directing attacks, and escorting the maneuvering forces, using unique technological capabilities.

The rocket battalions of the Artillery Corps fired over 200 precision rockets at dozens of targets with high precision using MLRS launchers during the fighting.
