Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is seen by many as the one responsible for the seventh of October failure. Many more also believe that after the war Netanyahu will retire from political life or run in new elections and lose.

However, internal survey data published today on the 'Maariv' website reveal that Netanyahu receives great support among members of his party.

According to the survey, 70% of the party members support Netanyahu as the head of the party and as its candidate for prime minister in the next elections as well.

However, the officials made it clear that there is one red line that will make them want to replace Netanyahu: according to the report, if the prime minister tries to have the elections take place ahead of time, the picture may change - and he will lose his supporters.
