Last night a drama unfolded that almost led to the cancellation of the second round of the release of 13 Israeli hostages from Hamas captivity.

After many hours and after the 13 captives were released, it was revealed that the reason for the crisis was Hamas's refusal to release Raya, Hila Rotem Shoshani's mother, claiming that he could not find her because they were not together in captivity.

But now, according to a report in News 12, it turns out that Raya Shoshani was in captivity together with her daughter Hila, when two days before the release Hamas separated them.

According to a report in News 12, Hila told her family members: "My mother was with me the entire time of captivity. Hamas separated us two days before the release. Mother's condition was good. We were together with Emily. Hamas informed us that there is a ceasefire and we are being released."

The political commentator of News 12, Amit Segal, revealed last night the real reason for the crisis and wrote: "Now we can tell. Throughout the day there was drama because Hamas refused to release Hila's mother. Unfortunately, it did not happen today, but if not tomorrow, then the day after tomorrow."

In Kibbutz Be'eri they also attacked the terrorist organization Hamas and said that not releasing Hila's mother is a blatant violation of the ceasefire agreement.

The kibbutz statement reads: "Kibbutz Be'eri and the families headquarters are happy and excited with the return of some of the hostages. At the same time, three children from two families from Kibbutz Be'eri were today torn from their only remaining parent. Hamas rudely violated the agreement and separated the mother from her home. Hila returns home without her mother Raya, who was left behind in the captivity of Hamas."
