Close to Disaster: a Two-Year-Old Fell into a Pit, his Condition is Serious

A two-year-old toddler from the Bedouin community was seriously injured after falling into a pit two meters deep. He was rushed to Soroka Hospital suffering from head and stomach injuries.

A two-year-old toddler from the Bedouin community in the south was seriously injured this evening (Thursday) after apparently falling into a pit 2 meters deep. After the rescue, the toddler was rushed to a local clinic in Kseifa. MDA medics and paramedics who arrived at the scene provided medical treatment to the injured and he was taken to Soroka Hospital suffering from head and stomach injuries.

Earlier it was reported that a 60-year-old pedestrian was hit by a vehicle on Chaim Moshe Shapira Street in Lod. MDA medics and paramedics gave her medical treatment and she was referred to Shamir-Assaf Harofeh Hospital in moderate condition with head and chest injuries.

It was also reported that at 4:03 p.m. an electric scooter rider was hit by a vehicle on Geula Street in Tel Aviv. MDA medics and paramedics gave him medical treatment and he was taken to Ichilov Hospital in moderate condition with a head injury.
