The international media network Reuters claims that the existing deal between Israel and Hamas is expected to release 100 hostages held by Hamas.

According to the reports of the media network, although the deal is structured in two stages, it is actually a unified release deal with different stages that includes the release of about 100 hostages from Hamas captivity. According to the report the deal is structured in two stages as a result of the deep lack of trust between the two parties.

In the first phase, Hamas is expected to release about 50 hostages held by it, almost all of them women, children, and mothers. This is in exchange for the release of 150 Palestinian security prisoners and a five-day truce, which will include a significant influx of humanitarian aid and resources into the Gaza Strip.

The next phase is separated as another phase, but according to Reuters is still an official part of the deal, in which the truce will last an additional day for every 10 hostages released by Hamas, similar to the same humanitarian criteria, but according to Reuters there is an understanding between the parties and the truce is expected to last until the release of about 100 hostages Israelis and 300 security prisoners, for ten days of respite.
