The Murderer is Coming Back

The Person who Tried to Murder Me is Coming Back to Live Next to Me

As part of the hostage deal, the 16-year-old terrorist, Nafoz Jaz Aref Hamad, who stabbed Moriah Cohen, in front of her children, is expected to be released. Moriah was shocked by the decision: "Why should my child see the person who tried to murder me?"

Among the terrorists who will be released as part of the deal that was closed last night, is expected to be released Nafoz Jaz Aref Hamad, a 16-year-old terrorist resident of the Shimon Hatzadik neighborhood in Jerusalem, who two years ago on her way to school stabbed Moriah Cohen in front of her 5 small children.

The terrorist was sentenced to 12 years in prison and as mentioned she is expected to be released in the coming days and return to live next door to Moriah Cohen - whom she tried to murder.

Moriah, who is still recovering from the wounds of the attack and realized that the terrorist would return to live near her, was furious about this. In a conversation with Ynet, Cohen says: "This is great anger and disdain for my life and that of my children. For me, it's really humiliating, to kill someone else at someone else's expense. Why does my child have to see the person who tried to murder me? Mentally, I'm still being treated and so are my children. Something is not right here."

Moriah's husband, who was also shocked by the decision, said to Kan 11: "I am very happy about the return of each and every abductee, we love our country, our people and our army. Tonight I came back from reserve duty. I am not against the deal. This is not my consideration but the statesmen's.

"But it doesn't make sense that my son, who saw the terrorist trying to murder his mother, will open the door of the house and see the terrorist at the door of the building opposite. It is simply unimaginable that my wife will have to see her on the street making a V sign, as she did in court.

"The terrorist did not repent at all and did not express any sorrow. It is unthinkable that she will return to being our neighbor. This wretch should not return home," he finished painfully.

As a reminder, the victim was taken to a hospital with the knife stuck in her back. After carrying out the attack, the terrorist fled the scene, hid in the school and changed her outer clothes there to mislead the police. The court initially ordered her to pay compensation in the amount of 50,000 NIS to the victim, and she was sentenced to prison only in the last few weeks.
