Jerusalem: CPR on a Six-Month-Old; His Condition is Serious

A six-month-old toddler lost consciousness in his home in the Givat Shaul neighborhood of Jerusalem. Medical teams that were called to the scene evacuated him to the hospital where his condition is described as serious.

The medical teams of United Hatzalah provided first aid and performed CPR on a six-month-old toddler who lost consciousness at his home in the Givat Shaul neighborhood of Jerusalem.

United Hatzalah medics Shlomi Atias, Meir Sharon and Avi Peres said: "We were in the vicinity of the scene and we were informed by the United Hatzalah headquarters about a toddler who had lost consciousness at home. We performed CPR on him and at this stage his condition is considered critical. When miraculously the toddler's pulse returned, he was taken to the intensive care unit at Shaare Zedek Medical Center in a difficult and stable condition. Resilience teams from the United Hatzalah arrived at the scene due to the nature of the incident and assisted the family members."
