Watch: IDF Yahalom Unit Exposes and Destroys Tunnels

The IDF announced that it has destroyed over 400 tunnel shafts since the war started - in schools, hospitals, agricultural fields, neighborhoods, and even cemeteries.

The fighting continues: the IDF announced today (Wednesday) that it has located and destroyed some 400 tunnel shafts since the beginning of the war.

As part of the forces’ activity in the Strip, hundreds of tunnel shafts were exposed and destroyed, with the Yahalom combat engineering unit taking a significant role in carrying out the work by a variety of means, according to the IDF Spokesperson.

According to the IDF, Hamas used civilian areas and built underground terror infrastructures in the heart of civilian neighborhoods – close to residences, schools, hospitals, cemeteries, and agricultural lands.
