In honor of World Children's Day that took place last night (Monday), the Population and Immigration Authority checked and discovered that about a third of the residents of the State of Israel are children.
According to a report produced by the senior policy and strategy planning division, in Israel there are currently 3.2 million children aged 0-17 who are residents of Israel, who make up 32.6% of the total population of Israeli residents.
