Likud MK Tali Gottlieb, known for her independent and provocative statements, attacked the emerging hostage deal being reported.

Gottlieb published a post on social media shortly after a series of reports on significant progress in talks between Israel and Hamas regarding a hostage exchange deal, strongly attacking the deal:

“Woe to us if we fall into Hamas’ trap!! Without returning all the hostages, we must not surrender to a cease fire.” She then went on to attack the freedom of action the deal would allow Hamas on the ground, the harm it would cause to forces on the ground, saying that “a cease fire will be used to harm our hero soldiers, allow Hamas to become stronger, and in the end those cruel liars will not keep their word.”

She ended by saying that no partial deal can be allowed with Hamas: “First the return of all the hostages! All the hostages! Only and only then a cease fire. We can be trusted, Hamas must not be trusted at all.”
