The war enters its 47th day.
IDF soldiers continue to deepen their hold on the Gaza Strip, with footage released today (Tuesday) of the Maglan recon unit fighting in the Gaza Strip and striking infrastructures with precise weaponry, including the guided Iron Sting missile, deployed in combat conditions for the first time.
As part of the units specialty in exposing and destroying the enemy and combined with air, sea, and ground forces, Maglan units located and destroyed more than 70 targets including enemy observation posts, terror infrastructures which were largely in civilian areas, anti-tank missile launchers and launch teams. The soldiers also eliminated many terrorists.
The Commando Formation ground effort in the Shati area in the northern Gaza Strip included a raid by Maglan fighters on a terrorist home and the discovery of many weapons, and a raid on a nearby school and the discovery of two underground shafts.
Earlier today, the IDF announced that the 162nd division had completed the encirclement of Jabaliya and was ready to continue the offensive. During the activity, terrorists were killed and infrastructures destroyed.
According to the IDF Spokesperson, artillery forces of the 215th and Air Force units worked to prepare the ground for fighting in Jabaliya. The forces struck terror targets with the aid of planes and aircraft. Among the targets were three underground shafts containing terrorists.

The IDF also reported that brigade teams from the 401st and Nachal conducted battles against terrorists at the edges of Jabaliya with the aid of tanks and drones. The forces also located and destroyed rocket launchers in the area.
Forces of the 551st Brigade combat team working with special forces operated north of Jabaliya in order to open the route for division forces and eliminate terror targets in the area. The soldiers eliminated terrorists with air support during the activity, seized enemy weapons in a number of places, including in residential areas and children’s rooms, and destroyed tunnel shafts.
