The Tourism Ministry updated the residents of Kiryat Shmonah today (Tuesday) that the government decided to extent the residents’ stay in hotels and within the framework of self-evacuation until December 31st this year. Sources in the ministry stated that hotels that are part of the arrangement were informed of the decision.

Residents of the south have not yet received an extension of their stay in hotels, meanwhile, and they are expected to move out tomorrow.

According to the Health Ministry, some 100,000 Israelis were evacuated to some 230 hotels and guest houses.

As reported by Srugim/JFeed, Shurat Hadin appealed to the UN High Commissioner for Refugees demanding they also aid the Israeli evacuees from the north and the Gaza Perimeter.
