The 44th day of fighting. IDF operations in the field are also helping the intelligence effort, with over 100 terrorists reported captured today (Sunday) for interrogation. Among these are three members of the Nukhba force who participated in the Simchat Torah Massacre. The effort was done in cooperation with the Shin Bet and Unit 504.

The IDF Spokesperson and Shin Bet Spokesperson stated that “in a joint operation of the Shin Bet and Unit 504, over 100 terrorists were captured in the past few days and taken for interrogation in Israel. Among those captured were three Nukhba terrorists who participated in the massacre on October 7. Over the last few days, Shin Bet coordinators and soldiers of Unit 504 in the intelligence division together with IDF forces fighting in the Gaza Strip continue to operate. The forces conducted dozens of debriefings in the different areas where ground activity is taking place and arrested over 100 terrorists from the terrorist organizations for continued interrogation in Israel.”

“In addition, Nukhba activists, activists in the area of rocket fire, combs, sniping, and logistics who gave the location of underground tunnels, warehouses, and weapons were arrested. Furthermore, the detainees gave the methods of the terror organizations, details on the digging of tunnels, and recruitment processes. The information from the interrogation of terror activists serves the forces operating from the ground and air in the Strip area and serves to receive quality and updated intelligence from the field, which helps the continued ground manuever and fighting efforts.”
