The IDF's information security system sent a message to thousands of citizens, according to the message, they must immediately disconnect from the Whatsapp messaging application connection of computers and mobile phones.

The message was sent by the IDF in the last few hours and in it was written: "The following is a mandatory instruction of the information security system - you must immediately disconnect any computer that is simultaneously connected to mobile phone applications such as WhatsApp, as well as cancel non-essential location services."

The National Cyber ​​Organization confirmed that this is a true message, and said that it is a mandatory directive that is required as a result of threats to the information security of citizens and entities.

As of this moment, the message has been verified by the National Cyber ​​Array and by the IDF, but the background to the message is being checked between the security bodies.
