A bus driver transporting female school students suffered a heart attack upon exiting the settlement of Neveh Daniel. One of the students who noticed it happening ran to the driver’s booth, took over the bus, and stopped it.
The Gush Etzion Council stated that “dear residents, a bus driver collecting students to the Yellow Hill (where the school is located), suffered a heart attack when leaving to Road 60 from Neveh Daniel. The bus was stopped by one of the students, everyone got off safely and were transferred to another vehicle which took them to their educational institutions.”
They also stated that “a medical team is treating the driver right now. The condition of the driver is serious and we wish him a full recovery. Traffic jams are present on site.”
