Prime Minister Netanyahu explained in his speech that this is not a regular war between two equal states or sides, but rather "a broad battle between humanity and barbarism, where barbarism is led by the 'Axis of Terror,' led by Iran, and includes Hezbollah, Hamas, the Houthis, and other proxies of the Iranian regime."

Netanyahu went on to tell the ambassadors that "these forces are working to drag the world back to a dark age, undermining any progress towards peace, and jeopardizing our thriving peace process with neighboring Arab states. If these forces are strengthened, if they gather more power, they will disrupt this process and endanger the entire Middle East."

Immediately after that, the Prime Minister declared to the ambassadors, "If the Middle East falls into the hands of this evil axis, Europe will be next in line, and no one will be safe. This is not a local conflict; it's a global battle. The primary need is to defeat this axis. This battle is happening now on our front against Hamas in Gaza, and there is no substitute for victory in this process."

The Prime Minister, Binyamin Netanyahu, continued and announced, "We will defeat Hamas, we will uproot Hamas from its core, we will provide the residents of Gaza and the entire Middle East with a genuine future, a future of security and hope, but it requires victory. We have the will and the power to do this. We will win, and we believe that all human forces need to support us in this struggle because our battle is your battle, and our victory is your victory."
