IDF Reveals Location of Senior Hamas Leaders

According to Aya Haimovitch at the IDF website, Hamas senior leaders are living a life of luxury abroad, spending time in fancy hotels and making large sums of money, while leaving the residents of Gaza to deal with the fallout from terror attacks they direct from afar.

According to the article, the Hamas leadership has a number of official institutions for senior leaders, comprised of representatives from three movement areas: Gaza Strip, Judea and Samaria, and Outside. The leadership of Hamas prisoners in Israeli jails are also a part of these groups.

The senior members of outside leadership reside neither in the Gaza Strip nor in the State of Israel, but in states which serve as fertile ground for their terrorist activity. Their role includes forming contacts for Hamas in their places of residence, raising money, and directing terrorist activity. As part of their work, they are involved in managing the organization’s assets and building up and funding their military arm.
