Following her statements in which she claimed that Hamas terrorists did not slaughter infants or rape women during the October 7th attack, the leader of the Ra'am party informed Knesset Member Iman Khatib-Yassin that there is no place for her on the party's Knesset list. According to Mohammad Majadleh's report, the party demanded her immediate resignation.
"They did not slaughter infants, at least from what was in the video. And they did not rape women," said Knesset Member Iman Khatib-Yassin from the Ra'am party in an interview on the Knesset Channel on Sunday in response to the events of October 7th. Yassin further added, "We cannot ignore what happened before and what happened after."
I heard firsthand
Later in the interview, she was asked if she watched the film shown to the Knesset members, and she replied, "I can't watch it. I heard it from a firsthand source." As a reminder, the Ra'am party was part of the Bennett government.
A few days ago Kalman Liebskind announced that members of the Ra'am party, until recently an honorary member of the coalition, have been cooperating for years - in donations, assistance, meetings and support - with at least five organizations that the State of Israel has defined as terrorist organizations, those linked to Hamas and providing it with a supportive envelope.
Furthermore, several senior members of Hamas, who have been prominently featured on television channels worldwide in the past month, justifying the mass murder of our people in Be'eri, Nahal Oz, and Sderot and promising to continue trying to destroy us, were themselves partners until not long ago in events and meetings with officials from Ra'am.
The online responses didn't take long to arrive, and internet users began to criticize the Knesset member: "Just like Holocaust deniers - there is no difference between you," "Traitor, your place is in Gaza," and more.
