The JNF’s workers union has travelled around the country since the beginning of the war with a “workers’ union caravan” to cheer up thousands of soldiers. Thanks to worker donations, shirts, underwear, fleece jackets, and more were purchased for the soldiers.

The workers have also prepared fresh pizzas which they hand out to soldiers on the front lines in the south and north.

The workers’ donations join with over 70 million NIS provided by the JNF to residents and settlements of the Gaza Perimeter for security needs, evacuation of residents, and other necessary matters.

The entire effort was led by the chairman of the JNF national workers union, Israel Goldstein, who enlisted the workers while he himself donated vacation days and took an active part in it all: “JNF workers are active partners in the national effort and the care that nothing is lacking for the soldiers of the Israel Defense Forces. I am proud of the workers for the contribution – this is our social and national path. We will continue together to help the soldiers and evacuated residents until the fighting ends. Am Yisrael Chai – we will win!”
