The northern front: Defense Minister Yoav Gallant visited the northern border today (Saturday), conducted a situation assessment, and conveyed a threat to Hezbollah. "If Nasrallah makes a mistake, he will determine Lebanon's fate."
As part of the visit to the 146th Brigade headquarters, which carries out its missions in the sector, the Defense Minister met with the Northern Command Chief, Major General Uri Gordin. He examined the defense operations in the northern border area and in the settlements in the sector, as well as the operational activity to neutralize terrorists and destroy terror infrastructure.
During the tour, the Defense Minister engaged in discussions with commanders of battalions and brigades in the reserves, praised the soldiers for their activities in the sector, and expressed his appreciation for the full mobilization and extended presence in the area.
The Air Force maintains its maximum strength in front of the Lebanese sector
At the end of the situation assessment, Gallant described the readiness on the border. "I have just completed a visit to the 146th Brigade headquarters on the northern border. I met determined and resolute reserve soldiers, as well as commanders who are familiar with the missions and are eager to achieve every success on the battlefield. We are in defense in the north and attacking with full force in the Gaza Strip; this is our top priority."
At the end of his remarks, the Defense Minister issued a warning to Hezbollah. "We do not wish to reach a war in the north, but we are prepared for any mission. The Air Force is maintaining its maximum strength against the Lebanese sector, against Hezbollah. Yahya Sinwar made a mistake and determined the fate of Hamas and Gaza. If Nasrallah makes a mistake - he will determine Lebanon's fate."
