A week into the ground war: An IDF spokesperson in Arabic earlier today (Saturday) updated that between 13:00-16:00, the "Tsalah Al-Din" corridor in the Gaza Strip will serve as a humanitarian passage for the residents of the northern Gaza Strip who have not yet moved south to ensure their safety.

Hamas exploited the humanitarian opportunity window that the IDF granted to the residents of Gaza, and members of the organization attacked IDF forces with mortar and anti-tank missile fire as they arrived at the corridor to open it – in order to prevent its opening for the movement of Gaza residents. Nevertheless, the IDF spokesperson reported, "In this incident, there are no casualties to our forces."

In the IDF communication recording, moments of the attack on the forces can be heard. "From our perspective, there's a population movement starting here," the soldier says, and suddenly adds, "I think they're shooting at me with an RPG." At this point in the recording, RPG gunfire sounds can be heard.
