During a statement to the press today (Thursday) State Camp party chairman and government minister Benny Gantz was asked about “settler violence.” He responded “I want to correct the concept of settler violence. The absolute majority of the settlement, 99.9% of the settlers are normative citizens who want to live in their settlements, and move on their roads in safety.”

Gantz added that “just today we had another terrorist incident in Judea and Samaria. I condemn it and think that we need to use all our force against extreme and isolated people who stain the name of the State of Israel as a Jewish state and as a law-abiding state. But we must not – must not confuse that with the whole population.”
