Last Night: our Forces Intercepted Threats South of Eilat and From Lebanon

The IDF (Israel Defense Forces) fighters issued threats from south of Eilat and from Lebanon, and eliminated the cell that fired the missile from Lebanon, with no casualties to our forces.

The 25th day of Operation Swords of Iron: During the night (Tuesday), IDF fighters issued threats from south of Eilat and from Lebanon, and eliminated the cell that launched the missile from Lebanon, with no casualties to our forces.

IDF Spokesperson: "The Israel Air Defense fighters intercepted an aerial threat detected in the southern area of the Red Sea, south of Eilat. There was no perceived danger to civilians, and no breach of Israeli territory was identified. Additionally, the IDF downed a ground-to-air missile launched from Lebanese territory a short while ago. IDF aircraft retaliated against the source of the missile launch and the cell responsible for the firing."

Earlier this morning, it was reported that nine IDF soldiers fell in a battle in the northern part of the Gaza Strip. Seven soldiers from the Tzabar Battalion of Givati were killed due to the explosion of an armored vehicle (Namer) in which they were traveling. Four others were injured in the incident, and their treatment is ongoing. Additionally, two more soldiers from the Givati Brigade were injured yesterday. The two soldiers from the Shiryon Brigade were killed by an anti-tank missile fired at the tank they were in. Two more soldiers from the 77th Brigade were also injured in the incident.
