Israeli police and the Shin Bet (Israel Security Agency) arrested three Israeli Arab citizens from the towns of Sakhnin and Arraba in the Galilee at the beginning of the week, who are suspected of having ties to ISIS. They are believed to have been preparing for security-related activities in the shadow of the conflict. According to the police statement, the court has extended their detention until November 5th.
A similar incident occurred yesterday when police officers from the Jerusalem district found a firearm, a flag of a terrorist organization, and a swastika emblem in the home of a resident of At-Tur, after he had threatened another civilian who had displayed an Israeli flag on his vehicle.
The suspect was arrested by the police and taken into custody. His detention has been extended by the court until October 31. During the investigation carried out by the Jerusalem district police officers, additional findings were collected, including, among other things, documentation of the suspect in possession of weapons.
