After implying that the head of the Shin Bet was at fault for suggesting that Hamas is deterred and even apologized, Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu praised Ronen Bar for his contribution to the war today (Monday).

During a visit he had with the Police Commissioner and the Minister of Internal Security, Netanyahu said, "The Shin Bet, under the head of the Shin Bet, has done and is doing very significant covert work, in coordination with other security arms, and a covert operation that saves lives all the time."

The Prime Minister received an overview from the commander of the unit on the battles conducted by the unit in the Kfar Aza sector, at the "Black Arrow" monument and in the South Command sector. And, Prime Minister Netanyahu envisioned the activation of an operational command post and an additional classified capability. In addition, Netanyahu watched a simulation of an operational activity that combines the ability to be disguised as an Arab, deceive and arrest in an area of Arab territory.

Netanyahu: We have a duty to the citizens of Israel

Netanyahu spoke with the fighters of the Gideons unit and expressed his appreciation for them and the dedication of the soldiers who fell during the battles against Hamas terrorists. He said, "A unit that fights every day of the year, even on the cursed day, the cursed Sabbath. Over 50 police officers sacrificed their lives to save the citizens of the country. We honor their memory and salute their bravery."

According to him: "The Israel Police, under the commissioner, do holy work all the time to protect us, especially these days. There is a debt of every Israeli citizen, and I salute you. All security forces are working together with you, along with the Chief of Staff, the commanders, and the IDF, who are on the front lines, guarding our homeland."

In conclusion, Netanyahu emphasized the spirit of combat and the determination to achieve victory. He said, "We are fighting for our home, and we will win with the help of these people and others who are imbued with the spirit of combat, the spirit of self-sacrifice, and the spirit of victory. Thank you."
