Sayeret Haruv, Dukipat, Duvdevan, Yahalom, and Magav fighters, under the command of the Kfir Brigade and with the guidance of the Shin Bet, operated last night in a divisional operation to counter terrorism in the Jenin refugee camp, which is located in the Manasheh Division.
During the operation, engineering units uncovered explosive devices ready for use that had been hidden beneath roads to target our forces. Additionally, the forces located a Hamas observation post camouflaged with explosives and destroyed it. The forces also destroyed a vehicle containing weaponry and military equipment and arrested another suspect in whose vehicle weapon components were found.
During the operation, the forces fired at armed terrorists. Additionally, following the identification by Unit 636 drones, remotely piloted aircraft targeted armed terrorists to eliminate the threat.
So far, it is known that four terrorists were killed in the operation, and several others were injured.
