Following the rocket salvo into Kiryat Shemonah, another one was fired towards the Western Galilee, including the cities of Shlomi, Nahariyah, and their surroundings.
Magen David Adom updated that: “Following up on the sirens in the Western Galilee in the past few minutes, at this stage no calls about hits or casualties have been received.”
The IDF reported that: “Following up on the initial report of sirens in the northern area, some ten launches were identified which crossed Lebanese territory into Israeli territory. The IDF struck in Lebanese territory in response to the fire.”
This is the first time a salvo was fired towards Nahariyah – 10 kilometers from the Lebanese border. Hezbollah is thus expanding the range of its rocket fire. Before this, a salvo was fired towards Rosh Pinah and Machanayim – 15 kilometers from the border.
