Hebrew University to Anti-Israel Professor: Best You Resign
Academics and senior administrators published a letter calling on their anti-Israel colleague to seek employment elsehwere.

A number of senior academics and administrators at Hebrew University issued a rare and public letter against Professor Nadera Shalhoub-Kevorkian, an anti-Israel criminology professor at the university, making the rare and unusual recommendation that she consider leaving her position.
The heads of the university – President Professor Asher Cohen and University Rector Dr. Tamir Sheafer – as well as a slew of academics from Hebrew U, sent a public letter disavowing Shalhoub-Kevorkian after she published petitions and calls condemning Israel and the IDF.
Prof. Shalhoub-Kevorkian recently published a series of petitions and calls against Israel and the IDF, where she accused Israel of committing systematic genocide in Gaza, further arguing that “Israel has occupied Palestine since its establishment.”

Members of the university and senior administrators such as the Rector and the President published the letter out of shock at the professor’s arguments, taking umbrage at her statements “removing the basis for Israel’s right to exist” and sharply attacking her claims of genocide. The letter ended by stating that they are ashamed and regret that a professor like her is part of the Hebrew University system, and they strongly recommended she resign from her position.
